The Island Wreck Site Underwater And Associated Photographs

Page 3

Our Dominican Dive Master Rami spotted something unusual in the coral. It appeared to be a base of a bottle but looked blue in colour. Four "blue" glass wine bottle bases were located. The glass appeared to give a bright blue hue underwater but when one was recovered to analyse it was found to be yellow green glass. This is the first time we have found these "blue" hexagonal glass bottle bases, and research will be ongoing into these to see what clues can be found.
