ADMAT est heureux de vous annoncer la création de son bureau français. ADMAT-France dirigera les équipes de chercheurs et fera la liaison entre les musées et les centres de recherche. Cette entité permettra de coordonner les recherches sur les découvertes et les épaves françaises de Monte Cristi (République Dominicaine).
ADMAT is delighted to announce that we have opened a non-profit French office. ADMAT-FRANCE as the new subdivision is called, will lead the scientific research team and museum liaisons. ADMAT-FRANCE will in particular assess and analyse the important artefacts recovered from the French wrecks in Monte Cristi, in the Dominican Republic.

Dr. François Gendron, vice-président de l’association sera en charge de la recherche scientifique au jour le jour, secondé de Florence Prudhomme et du Dr. Aïcha Gendron-Badou, ainsi que de nombreux archéologues et scientifiques de renommées internationales.
The Vice President of ADMAT-FRANCE, Dr. Francois Gendron will be leading the day to day scientific research team, with Florence Prudhomme and Dr. Aïcha Gendron-Badou and many internationaly renown archaeologists and scientists. ADMAT-FRANCE est ouvert aux archéologues, plongeurs, scientifiques, et à tout ceux soucieux de l’héritage maritime français.
ADMAT-FRANCE is open to archaeologists, divers,
scientists and anybody with an interest in assisting with
the preservation of the Underwater Cultural Heritage of
France. Dr Gendron: “c’est avec grand plaisir que nous annonçons la création de la section française d’ADMAT, nommée ADMAT-FRANCE. Le siège de l’association se trouve au sein du Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle (MNHN). ADMAT-France permettra de diffuser les résultats des recherches scientifiques issues des fouilles sous marine dans les Caraïbes et tout particulièrement celles issues de Saint-Domingue qui fut une riche et prolifique colonie française”.
Dr Gendron said " It is with great pleasure, we announce the creation of a French department of ADMAT, called ADMAT-FRANCE. The association ADMAT-FRANCE resides in the scientific centre of MNHN (Muséum national d’histoire naturelle). ADMAT-FRANCE is a tool we need for the promotion of the scientific analysis created by the maritime archaeological work in the Caribbean and in particularly in the Dominican Republic which was a very important and rich French colony."
