Captain. Patrick Enlow (Rtd), A Short Biography

Patrick has participated with ADMAT in the survey process of La Viette (1802), Faience Wreck (1760s), Le Casimir (1829), and the Tile Wreck (1690s) in the Dominican Republic. Patrick also took part in ADMAT USA project on the Button Wreck, a possible 1770 wreck in the Florida Keys along with NOAA and the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary.

Patrick is a member of the Great Lakes Historical Society and member of MAST (Maritime Archeological Survey Team). He has participated in the ongoing survey of the Dundee (1893) in Lake Erie and the Ohio Mooring Buoy Project.

In June of 2006, Patrick participated as the Director of Information Technology in the cooperative field school for ADMAT and the Indiana University, surveying the bay area of Isabela in the Dominican Republic for lost Columbus era shipwrecks. Patrick and Dr. Spooner found a Columbus era anchor with in 30 minutes of starting the magnetometer survey, which was raised and is now in conservation.

In June 2007, Patrick and Dr. Spooner ran the maritime side of the Indiana University & ADMAT field school at Isabela, where a number of interesting targets were found with the side scan sonar.

Patrick is a SDI Scuba Instructor and holds of a number of scuba diving specialties in Proton Magnetometer, Underwater Survey, and Underwater Archeology, Patrick's love for scuba diving and technology is an ideal fit for supporting archeologist in the field for technology related matters. Patrick developed and authored the Underwater Archeology Database Management System, which is a software database application to track Divers, Artifacts, Projects, Dive Sites and create Artifact sheets for detailed recording of artifacts to include pictures.

Patrick is the owner of EFS Network Management that provides technical support for law firms, medical practices, commercial real estates firms, and archeologist. http://www.efsnm.com This support evolves hardware, software, network, server, desktop support, as well as custom software development. Patrick in a partner in MOLDTRAX a software application in which he collaborative developed for plastic injection mold maintenance. This software program is the international market leader of its category. http://www.moldtrax.com. Patrick is also the Director of Information Technology for Immediate Health Urgent Care Centers. http://www.ihainc.org/ Patrick is ADMAT's computer guru for obvious reasons.

Patrick has a BSIT (Bachelors of Science in Information Technology) degree. He is currently finishing his MIS (Master of Information Systems) degree, and has twenty-four years of computer programming and information technology support. Patrick assists commercial industries as well as archeologist in field Information Technology support.

The Meritorious Service Medal is Patrick highest military award for his many years of service in the United States Army Special Forces (Airborne). Patrick is a graduate of the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare School, US Army Rangers, the Norwegian Winter Warfare School, US Army and Republic of Korea Parachutist award, and a Norwegian military biathlon ski and shoot Bronze Medal. Patrick is a retired Captain from the US. Army and former enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.

Both new and ancient technology is Patrick’s passion and interest. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family scuba diving, adventure-hiking, horseback riding, and canoeing. He participates along with his sons in the local fencing club and local competitions. He is an active counselor for his local area Boy Scouts of America. He is affiliated and is an instructor with his local dive shop Aquatic Adventures and is the Program Director for the Aquatic Adventurer’s Scuba Club. Patrick enjoys his spare time flying and is a member of the Northwest Flyers Club.
