Every day Historic Wrecks get damaged and destroyed in US waters. We are making a start in the Florida Keys by recording, photographing and documenting potentially threatened historic wreck sites. This is expensive work.

you would care to donate cash for us to purchase equipment, or if you have the items you wish to donate. Thank you!

Equipment:

1-Lead diving weights, all sizes

2-Plastic water tanks, 6 ft. long ideally

3-Certified scuba diving tanks (80 cu. ft.)

4-A car/truck and dive boat for the Florida Keys Project

5-Mobile Phone (unlocked) old ones or new

6-VHF Radio hand held

7-VHF Radio base station

8-Air compressor for filling scuba tanks

9-20 ft. long ISO shipping containers and delivery to the Florida Keys to be used for secure storage

Cash Donations Will Be Used For:

1-Gasoline for the dive boats & truck

2-Air fills for the scuba tanks (until we have our own compressor)

3-Car/truck rental until we have our own vehicle

4-We are hoping to receive the use of dive boats from local volunteers but when not available we will have to rent suitable boats

5-Rental of scientific equipment

6-For educational scholarships to assist students to take part on our projects.

7-DAN (Divers Alert Network) Oxygen kit for divers
